Cookies

Cookies are files that are stored on the user's computer to record information about a session. Softube uses cookies for two purposes:

1. To store the current contents of the shopping cart and in some cases the user's iLok.com User ID.
2. To store the currently selected country for dealer localization purposes.
3. To collect statistical information using Google Analytics. This lets us analyze your site usage to improve our site. Google's privacy policy is here.

Cookies are NOT used by Softube for these purposes:

1. To store credit card numbers. All credit card transfers are handled by PayPal and are subject to their Privacy Policy, which is available on www.paypal.com.
2. To store E-mail addresses.
3. To store shipping addresses.

Personal Information

When information is entered in a form on the site, for example when demo license is requested or a purchase is made, Softube stores some information. This is for book-keeping purposes, to handle future upgrades, for sending out newsletters (if the user requested this), to detect multiple demo requests from the same iLok.com User ID, for fraud detection, and for similar purposes. Information that is stored by Softube includes:

1. E-mail addresses.
2. iLok.com User IDs.
3. Names.
4. Company names.
5. Shipping addresses.
6. Receipt numbers.
7. VAT numbers.

Information that is NOT stored by Softube includes:

1. Credit card numbers. All credit card transfers are handled by PayPal and are subject to their Privacy Policy, which is available on www.paypal.com.
